Indian Cryptocurrency Exchange Unocoin is launching, perhaps country’s first, crypto ATM with more details to be revealed in a week’s time, Bengaluru-based startup’s founder Sathvik Vishwanath has confirmed.
The words “instant deposit & withdrawals for your Unocoin account” are written on the machine, along with “exclusive for Unocoin customers” and “credit & debit cards are not accepted.” There are also logos for BTC, XRP, ETH, BCH, and LTC next to the machine, suggesting that the ATMs support at least the five cryptocurrencies.
The crypto startup plans on setting up these ATMs across Malls where there are required infrastructure for setting up of such ATMs. However, “the location to put up these ATMs has not been fixed yet,” Sathvik said.
